Home Academy Enrollment
Finding the right fit matters.
Choosing a school is one of the most important decisions a family makes. At Home Academy, we believe the best learning happens when children, families, and educators are aligned in values, expectations, and approach.
Our enrollment process is thoughtful and relationship-based, designed to ensure Home Academy is the right fit for your child and your family.
Is Home Academy the Right Fit?
Home Academy may be a wonderful fit for families who:
- Want a small, relationship-based learning environment
- Value whole-child education
- Appreciate multi-age learning and community-based classrooms
- Want their child to learn through projects, hands-on experiences, and real-world connections
- Believe children learn best in a safe, nurturing, and home-like environment
- Are comfortable with a school day that prioritizes depth of learning over busywork
- Are seeking an alternative to traditional and private schools
- Want their child to enjoy coming to school and feel confident being themselves
- Value collaboration and open communication with teachers
Home Academy may not be the right fit for families who:
- Prefer a traditional, large-classroom school setting
- Are seeking a strictly test-driven or worksheet-based program
- Expect rigid pacing where all students must be at the same academic level at the same time
- Are looking for a highly competitive or pressure-based academic environment
- Prefer minimal family involvement or communication with teachers
- Expect a school environment focused primarily on grades rather than growth
We believe clarity creates stronger, healthier school communities.

Enrollment Process
Step 1: Submit an Enrollment Application
Families begin by completing our enrollment application. This helps us learn more about your child, your family, and what you are seeking in a school experience.
Step 2: Schedule a Meet & Greet
After reviewing the application, families are invited to schedule a meet and greet. This is a time to connect, ask questions, and explore alignment with Home Academy’s mission, values, and program.
Step 3: In-Person Shadow Day
Students are invited to participate in an in-person shadow day. This allows your child to experience a typical day at Home Academy and helps ensure the environment is a comfortable and supportive fit.
Step 4: Enrollment Decision.
Following the shadow day, we will connect with families to discuss next steps. If Home Academy is a mutual fit, we move forward with enrollment details and next steps.
